Many times we are asked why jumping to the smaller of the two telescoping poles doesn’t throw the line off an eighth. Here’s how it works. When your line carrier passes the joint in the pole, you pick up an adapter sleeve (some call it a bushing) that makes up the difference. The line stays in exactly the same plane as before.
This Commercial Adapter’s base plate was nailed to the top of the wood framing. Since the two arms are made of round tubing, the Commercial Adapter can extend out anywhere, even at a weird angle, and still hold the pole plumb and secure.
