WINTER ENCLOSURE – ENTIRE SCAFFOLD

WINTER ENCLOSURE

We make two forms of weather protection for Heavy Duty Scaffolding. The Winter Enclosure affixes to the base of the tower and the very top of the tower to form a total enclosure that can even go over and back down the back side of a wall.

Base Fixture

The Base Fixture fastens securely to the Heavy Duty Base Tower, providing a stable and sturdy platform on which to construct the Winter Enclosure.

Top Beam Connection

The Top Beam is connected to the Heavy Duty tower via the Tower-To-Beam adapter. This forms the second point of attachment for the Winter Enclosure.

Ready to Wrap

Here you see the fully assembled Winter Enclosure, ready to wrap with poly. The outer member of the Winter Enclosure is round pipe, perfect for conventional wind clips.

Scaffolding Winter Enclosure Ready for Poly

Stocked and Ready for the Weather

Winter Enclosure does not interfere with the normal use and stocking of the scaffolding. Your crew will work until the weather arrives, then when needed, poly can be quickly installed.

Moving Towers is No Problem

Setting towers is just as simple with the Winter Enclosure as without. The Swivel Forklift Bar passes through the enclosure and into the scaffold rung spaces as usual.

Assembles Quickly

Attach the Tower-to-Beam adapter to the top of the tower, place the top beam with your forklift, then build the 9′ Extensions down to the Base Fixture below. Simple, really.

Inside View

Winter Enclosure is ideal for extreme cold where heaters are a must for keeping the wall at proper temperature. The crew seem to enjoy it, too!
